HR wrote the letter. Let me read it before the UGE does.
The employer letter is the document most often sent back, and almost always for one missing sentence. Paste what HR drafted below. I read it myself against the Ministry’s list and reply within 24 hours with what to change, if anything. Free, and it does not commit you to anything.
What I check
What I read it against
- That it says the work is performed remotely and may be performed from Spain, in those words.
- That the company is outside Spain and your role is not tied to any Spanish office.
- That it states your role, your start date and your gross salary, in euros or convertible to euros.
- That the company’s operating history covers at least a year and your relationship at least three months.
- That the signatory has authority and the letter is on letterhead, dated, with contact details.
What you get back
A short email from me. Either the letter is fine as it is, or a list of the sentences to add or change, written so HR can paste them in.
